Holiday Season

Hello again, everyone. Happy holidays and all that jazz. I'll try to get some holiday art up sometimes soon, but the main point of this journal entry is for something very different.
I was really touched today. This doesn't happen very often for someone with few emotions.
During Digital Video class, one of my dear friends passed me a piece of paper folded in half. On the front it said, "To Max / Happy Harmonica." Right off the bat I could see how sweet this was. I opened it up and to my delighted surprise, I found this:

Wow. I was barely holding back tears as a lion ripped apart an enemy hyena on the screen in front of me.

Colorado, I just want to thank you so much for this Chanuka card. I've never received anything quite like it. I'll cherish it for days.

Im a Gaia member, who came upon your link on the art promotions. I like your work a lot, and it looks like you want some good gold. I think that you would stand a good chance in my huge compitition. As long as 10 people sign up (we already have 3) then you will be given 2 weeks to submit an artwork. For first place you get 5000 Gold. 2nd and 3rd will win 1000G.

Take this into concideration! There will be a submission fee of 500 gold. But if you win, you will make a WHOLE lot more than that! Think about it!!!
